The Watter's Mou'

The problem was that the fisherman had fallen on hard times, and had turned to smuggling. And putting a stop to smuggling was William Barrow's sworn duty. It's a recipe for disaster: nothing good can come of this night. And down at the water's mou', a terrible fate awaits them all in the stormy night to come -- for William Barrow, for his love, and for the fisherman who is her father.

Miss Betty

Miss Betty concerns the highwayman activites of its hero, Rafe Otwell, who is, in any event, morally regenerated by the novels coy heroine, Betty Pole. The novel begins with the heroic rescue of Betty by Rafe when she falls into the Thames river...

The Mystery of the Sea

Archie Hunter travels to Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire, to enjoy a little rest and relaxation in the small seaside village. But his holiday takes an unexpected turn when he begins to see dead spirits and an old woman named Gormala who tells him he possesses the "Second Sight." According to Gormala, both he and she are Seers, and she proposes an alliance to solve the centuries-old "Mystery of the Sea."

The Jewel of Seven Stars

A mysterious attack on Margaret Trelawney's father brings young lawyer Malcolm Ross into the Egyptologist's bizarre home, and the couple soon find they are battling ancient forces greater than they previously could have imagined. The Man

The Man is a layered romance novel which tells the story of widower Stephen Norman. To complicate matters, a rival lover, Leonard Everard wins Stephen's heart...

The Lady of the Shroud

The Lady of the Shroud was first published in 1909. Like Dracula it is set in Eastern Europe. The story is a utopian tale about technological progress in that region as seen through the eyes of vampires. It is said that it reflects anxieties about changes in the role of women at the time and is one of Stokers most politically charged novels.

The Lair of the White Worm

In a tale of ancient evil, Bram Stoker creates a world of lurking horrors and bizarre denizens: a demented mesmerist, hellbent on mentally crushing the girl he loves; a gigantic kite raised to rid the land of an unnatural infestation of birds, and which receives strange commands along its string; and all the while, the great white worm slithers below, seeking its next victim...
